The OpticsMED FW-8 sits between the FW-10 and the LG-6BT — a salt-pan-style heater (no fan) but with a beefier 550 W element than the FW-10. The result is a faster warm-up and a more consistent temperature curve through the day, while keeping the silent-operation advantage of the salt-pan design. The smart layout puts the temperature knob and the power switch on independent circuits so the heater stays on standby between adjustments without losing setpoint.
