The OpticsMED OSE-4000 is the OCT-A (angiography) flagship — adds VASCAN OCT angiography to the OSE-2800 platform with C-OMAG algorithm, 80,000 A-scan/sec speed (vs 24,000 of the OCT-500), HD SLO fundus imaging with eye tracking, and segmentation across encoded, vitreous-retina interface, superficial retina, deep retina, avascular, choriocapillaris, choroid and custom layers.

The B-scans resolve the retinal layers cleanly and the RNFL and macular thickness maps are reproducible on follow-up, which is invaluable for monitoring glaucoma and macular disease. Acquisition is quick even on eyes with modest cataract.
