The OpticsMED OU-5000 is the all-in-one consult-room build for an ophthalmology practice. The European-styled chassis houses a sliding instrument table that hosts two devices (slit lamp + autoref, or slit lamp + retinoscope) with 90° rotation between them, a swing-out phoropter arm with two-axis movement, and a reclining motorised chair that takes patients up to 250 kg. The result is a complete exam-room in a 1.1 × 0.8 m footprint.
