TR-550A ophthalmic unit with arc worktable, voltage-selectable slit-lamp power and rotating table — the multi-instrument exam unit for clinics running varied slit-lamp inventory.
Clinical overview
The OpticsMED TR-550A is the ophthalmic combination unit with arc-shaped worktable and voltage-selectable slit-lamp power output (2.5–12 V). The voltage flexibility lets the same unit power slit lamps from different manufacturers without an external transformer — the practical advantage for clinics that have inherited a mixed slit-lamp inventory through acquisitions or trade-ups.
| Table size | 840 × 405 mm |
|---|---|
| Arm tilt | ± 30° |
| Slide range | 500 mm |
| Chair height | 500 – 700 mm |

Clinics with mixed slit-lamp inventory (different manufacturers, different operating voltages) that want a single combination unit to power them all. Also fits multi-room practices standardising on the same chair-and-table package across rooms while keeping the slit lamps each room is already comfortable with.

The chair, slit-lamp table and phoropter arm are laid out so everything falls to hand during a full examination, which keeps my patient flow efficient. Chair movement is quiet and precise.

The CT-360 is a complete ophthalmic unit combining a motorised patient chair with a slide-out instrument table and a swing arm for mounting examination instruments. The chair offers rotation, aerodynamic reclining, movement, and electric lifting for patient positioning, and the ABS plastic table slides left and right and rotates 90 degrees outward. The swing arm rotates 60 degrees for instrument access at the chair side. It is intended for optical practice clinics that need a single integrated exam station.

The CT-450S is a premium ophthalmic exam unit with a 360-degree rotating chair, 360-degree rotating instrument table, and a Swiss linear actuator lift mechanism rated to 500 lbs. The chair tilts 45 degrees on a counterbalanced mount, and the unit measures 1200 by 1055 by 1850 mm overall with a 400 by 490 mm instrument table. It is intended for optical practice clinics that want a higher-capacity, longer-life motion platform than entry-tier exam stations. It is supplied as a complete integrated chair-and-stand unit.

TCS-880 fashion-design ophthalmic combination with 450 mm phoropter arm lift — the widest lift range in the TCS-series for accommodating diverse patient heights.

TCS-860 ophthalmic combination unit with electric phoropter arm (300 mm lift, 90° rotation) and rotating chair — built for full-feature exam rooms in mid-tier practices.

TCS-500 compact 80 kg ophthalmic table-and-chair unit with 670–830 mm elevation — the lightest TCS-series unit for budget-constrained installs.

TR-700 modular ophthalmic unit with separate phoropter swing arm + projector arm + slit-lamp arm — built for refractive-surgery consult rooms with bespoke layouts.

TR-520B compact two-instrument ophthalmic unit with arc worktable — purpose-built for tight-footprint exam rooms loading two instruments side by side.
