The OpticsMED ALE-1200 + ST-1200plus patternless edger pair is the high-curve specialist edger. The 90 mm grinding wheel diameter is what makes it work — it clears the cutting path on highly curved sport-wraparound and oversized fashion-frame lenses that smaller wheels collide with. V-polishing and fault-polishing modes also flag and recover from lens defects before the lab wastes the blank.
