The OpticsMED ALE-1200G is the grooving-enabled variant of the ALE-1200. Same 90 mm grinding wheel, same V-polish and fault-polish modes, same 7" LCD touchscreen — but with the integrated grooving function that lets the lab cut both bevel AND groove in a single setup. The result is a single workstation that handles full-frame, half-frame and rimless Rx without moving the lens to a separate grooving bench.

Capable lab edger
Consistent bevel placement and good grooving for supra frames. The blocking and tracing workflow is logical once set up, and lens wastage has dropped noticeably.
