The OpticsMED ALE-1600G adds grooving to the ALE-1600 platform — combining the 500-template persistent library, 3-second tracer scan, multi-material support, auto-bevel and grooving in a single console. This is the lens-finishing workstation that high-volume chain labs procure when they want one machine to do everything from CR-39 single-vision to PC half-frame to glass rimless.

Precise edging and drilling
The edger reproduces the frame trace accurately and delivers clean, well-placed bevels even on high-index lenses. Drilling for rimless mounts is precise and repeatable, which has cut down my remakes.
