The OpticsMED CAS-2000BER Model A is the combined A-scan + B-scan ophthalmic ultrasound. Where the SK-2000AP combines A-scan with pachymetry (biometric workup), the CAS-2000BER combines A-scan with B-scan (inspection / measurement workup) — the right tool for the clinic that needs to image behind a dense cataract, evaluate vitreous opacities, or work up retinal detachment before surgical referral.
