FL-1 optical flipper — the standard binocular-vision-therapy lens flipper for accommodative facility testing and vision-therapy programmes.
Clinical overview
The OpticsMED FL-1 is the standard binocular-vision-therapy lens flipper — paired plus/minus lenses on a handheld bar that the therapist flips alternately in front of the patient's eyes to train accommodative facility. The standard configuration is the workhorse of vision-therapy and behavioural-optometry programmes.

The paired lens cells flip smoothly and the ±2.00 configuration is ideal for assessing accommodative facility in my younger patients. The frame is light enough to hold comfortably through a full binocular vision workup.

A dependable flipper for routine accommodative and vergence work. The lenses are well seated with no wobble, though I would have liked a slightly grippier handle for longer sessions.
