Clinical overview

Product overview

The Goldmann 3-Mirror Lens is a classic slit-lamp accessory used for gonioscopy (angle inspection), peripheral retina assessment, and laser delivery procedures. Three internal mirrors at 73Β°, 67Β°, and 59Β° provide complementary views of the anterior chamber angle, equatorial retina, and peripheral fundus when paired with any standard slit lamp biomicroscope. Anti-reflection coated optical glass keeps reflections off-axis; the supplied cushion ring makes prolonged contact comfortable for the subject.

Excellent for angle and periphery

The three mirrors give me clear, undistorted views of the angle and peripheral retina, and grading the trabecular meshwork is straightforward. The lens couples cleanly with coupling gel and seats comfortably on the eye.

Dr. Louise Pemberton, MD, FRCOphthVerified buyerJul 21, 2025

Sharp mirror views

Good clarity across all three mirrors and the anti-reflective coating helps when examining under bright slit illumination. A staple lens for gonioscopy.

Victor Hale, ODOct 25, 2025

Reliable diagnostic lens

Consistent optical quality that makes peripheral retinal assessment reliable during a glaucoma or retinal tear work-up. Well finished and easy to clean.
