The OpticsMED LG-400B is the cost-optimised configuration of the LG-400 pattern maker. The platform is identical to the LG-400A but uses copper parts in place of stainless steel and domestic milling cutters in place of the imported set. The result is a pattern cutter that handles routine new-pattern and repair-pattern work at a lower price point, suited for labs that don't run the imported-cutter accuracy as a binding constraint.

Built for
Cost-conscious optical labs and small frame-repair benches where pattern cutting is occasional rather than daily, and the higher-spec LG-400A is overkill. The B variant also makes a good spare/backup unit for larger labs that already run the A.
