SK-2000AP combined A-scan biometer (10 MHz) and pachymeter (20 MHz) with 6 IOL formulas — the all-in-one pre-cataract biometry workstation for cataract-surgery centres.
Clinical overview
The OpticsMED SK-2000AP combines two distinct biometry instruments into one workstation: a 10 MHz A-scan for axial-length measurement and IOL power calculation, plus a 20 MHz pachymeter for central corneal thickness measurement. The result is one device that handles both the IOL calculation and the cornea-thickness measurement that refractive-surgery candidates need.
| A-Scan frequency | 10 MHz |
|---|---|
| Pachymetry frequency | 20 MHz |
| Measurement range | ≥ 60 mm |
| Total gain | 96 dB |
| Sound velocity | 1641 / 1532 m/s |
| Voltage | AC 100 – 110V/240V, 50/60 Hz |
Cataract surgery centres and refractive surgery clinics that need both A-scan biometry and corneal pachymetry in their pre-op workflow. The combined-instrument approach saves bench space and the patient is measured at one chinrest instead of moving between two devices.
