The OpticsMED YZ9 is the Hertel-type mirror exophthalmometer — the precision inspection / measurement tool for measuring proptosis (eyeball forward displacement) in thyroid eye disease (Graves' ophthalmopathy), orbital tumors and orbital trauma. The isosceles right-angled prism design projects both corneal vertexes and the scale plate via total reflection, eliminating parallax error during measurement.
