The CP-27B is a professional visual-tester software package designed to turn a standard LCD computer into a full vision-acuity testing station. Nine chart series, Sudoku-mode layout and a remote-control kit make it a low-cost path into the same examination protocol the dedicated hardware tests cover.

Flexible chart control
The software offers a good spread of acuity, contrast and binocular tests, and building a custom testing sequence for my refraction routine is simple. Optotype rendering on the monitor is clean.
