Clinical overview
Product overview
The OpticsMED LP-16H mirrors the LP-16 prism range but mounts each prism on a handle instead of a trial-lens carrier. The handle format is the one strabismologists reach for during a cover/uncover test — the prism flips in front of the eye, the examiner watches the corrective movement, the prism flips back out. Repeating the cycle a hundred times in a busy paediatric strabismus clinic is what wears out trial-lens prisms; the handle version is built for that workload.
Key features
- Same 0.5 to 50 Δ range as the LP-16, with the RF rotary prism included
- Ergonomic handle mount — one-handed flip during cover/uncover testing
- Sturdy build for high-cycle clinic use
- Foam-lined case with named slots for each prism

Built for
Busy paediatric strabismus clinics and orthoptic departments where cover/uncover testing is performed dozens of times per day. The handle format is faster than swapping trial-lens prisms when measuring an alternate cover test on a fidgety child.
