Clinical overview
Product overview
The OpticsMED VT-100 is the electronic auto phoroptor that replaces the hand-driven MP-10. The extended sphere range (-29 to +26.75 D) covers post-cataract and refractive-surgery patients whose Rx falls outside the standard manual phoropter range, and the multi-step refraction (0.25 to 3 D coarse-to-fine) lets the optometrist run quick subjective sweeps before zeroing in on the final correction.
Key features
- Multiple step sizes: 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3 D for sphere and cylinder
- Dual Jackson cross cylinder (0.25 D and 0.5 D)
- Solid suprachiasmatic cylinder 0.5 D
- Cylinder axis steps: 1°, 5°, 15°, 30°, 45°
- PD: far 48–80 mm, close 45–75 mm (0.5 / 1.0 mm step)
- Working distance 35–70 cm (5 cm step)
- Prism 0–20 Δ in 0.1 Δ to 2 Δ steps
- Auxiliary lenses: pinhole, Maddox (red/horizon and red/vertical), red/green, polaroid (135°/45°)
- Separation prism (6 Δ BU right, 10 Δ BI left)
- Ophthalmoscope mode at +1.5 D / +2.0 D
