Built for

Mobile clinic units, outreach optometry programmes and clinics in regions with unreliable mains power. The no-power design means the VT-6E works through outages, in NGO field clinics and at school-screening events where electronic phoropters can't.

Dependable and accurate

Optics are clear and the prism and rotary knobs hold their settings well. A trustworthy phoropter for everyday subjective refraction.

Dr. Gregory Nash, MD, FRCOphthVerified buyerOct 1, 2025

Smooth, precise refraction

The lens dials click positively and the cross-cylinder rotation is beautifully damped, which makes fine axis refinement effortless. A pleasure to use on a full refraction list.

Dr. Thomas Reilly, MDAug 23, 2025

Comfortable manual phoropter

Well balanced on the arm and easy to align for the patient. The auxiliary lens knob is smooth and the convergence controls are accurate.
