Ordered this to replace an ageing unit and so far it feels solid and properly engineered. The packaging felt slightly light for the contents. Would consider it again but shop around.

VT-700 premium auto phoroptor with 9.7" touchscreen and 180° rotating display — built for high-volume refractive practices that want the patient to see their results in real time.
Clinical overview
The OpticsMED VT-700 is the premium auto phoroptor in the line — same extended -29 to +26.75 D range as the VT-100 but with a 9.7-inch touchscreen and a 180°-rotating screen that lets the practitioner share the live measurement with the patient face-to-face. The result is a refraction session where the patient sees what's happening, which materially shortens the questions-and-explanations cycle at the dispense conversation.
| Sphere | -29.00 to +26.75 D |
|---|---|
| Cylinder | 0.00 to +8.75 D |
| PD distant | 45 – 75 mm |
| PD close | 50 – 80 mm |
| Working distance | 35 – 70 cm |
| Phoropter weight | 3.5 kg |
| Power | AC 110–110V/240V, 50/60 Hz, 90 VA |
Premium refractive practices, refractive-surgery pre-op clinics and patient-experience-focused optometry chains. The 180°-rotating display is the differentiator — practices that show patients their refraction in real time report higher conversion to premium lens recommendations.

We've been using this in our practice for a few weeks now and the components fit and function exactly as described. It integrates neatly with the kit we already run. Solid purchase overall.
