Product overview
The OpticsMED YZ20T4 is the dual-binocular surgical microscope designed for shared theatres — where ophthalmology, hand surgery and orthopaedic surgery all share a microscope. The assistant binocular can be converted to opponent configuration (across-the-bed instead of beside-the-surgeon) to match each specialty's preferred surgical posture, and three interchangeable objective lenses (f200, f250, f300) match each specialty's working distance.
Key features
- Dual binocular — convertible assistant ↔ opponent configuration
- Three objective lenses (f200, f250, f300)
- 5-step magnification per objective: 4× to 25× (f200), 3.2× to 20× (f250), 2.7× to 17× (f300)
- Internal beam splitter for teaching tube and CCD
- Oblique slit illumination (360° rotatable, adjustable width)
- Multi-layer coating — anti-mildew, high transmittance

Multi-specialty ORs where the same microscope serves ophthalmology, hand surgery, orthopaedic and microvascular surgery. The convertible binocular configuration eliminates the awkward posture compromises that single-config microscopes force on non-ophthalmology cases.
